2nd Marriage/difficult move

My daughter and I are very close and have gone through a lot together. We've been each other's rocks.

My new hubby-to-be does not have the same relationship with his children and does not have grandchildren.

I fear he may be insensitive to the transition I'm about to make...it feels like I'm abandoning my daughter and granddaughters.
