I'd like to write a poem:
Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
We retirees had gathered
We'll leave out the mouse
We looked at our stockings
All hung up with care
Knowing that treats
Were hidden in there
When all of a sudden
We heard such a clatter
We sprang from our seats
To see what was the matter
The moon on the crest
Of the new fallen snow
Showed Elvis and guitar
Someone dressed up, you know
So we rocked and we rolled
Til midnight or past
We danced and we partied
We were having a blast
But now it is time
For us to go home
Let me say Merry Christmas
I hope you enjoyed the poem
