Another fantastic day in the life of a retiree

Successful day at the church luncheon. Our performance went off without a hitch. Then it was off to our clubhouse to set up for our third annual talent show. That too was so good that we had a standing room only crowd. We are amazed at how many people come to those shows.

Once the show was over and the people left, we stayed to set up for tomorrow's High Tea hosted by another of our couples here in the park and our dear friends.

Well, it is three o'clock in the morning and once I do get up, I have to empty the car (we were too beat to do it this evening as we only got home at eleven PM, eat breakfast, shower and get in my tux as I am one of the servers.

We are expecting 104 ladies to turn out for this affair and
they are coming to see the Queen and Prince along with the Crown Jewels that will be on display (The Queen and Prince are long-time residents of our community and have been married I think - 65 years). It should be yet another fantastic event.

Once back home sometime late tomorrow afternoon, I will do my best to write more and share some pictures with everyone. But for now I will finish my tea (sleepy time tea), hope I get a few hours sleep, and get back at it about 7 AM. Ta Ta for now. More to come.
