Yes, you really can earn money, after retirement, by taking online surveys!
Yes, companies will pay you to do their consumer opinion type surveys.
This is a risk-free job, as you register for free, and earn money for your time alone.
You won't make much... nothing is that easy, but you will earn a few bucks from the comfort of your own home.
If you are someone looking for some extra cash, just something simple to do while you are watching tv, or babysitting your grandchildren, this might be for you.
If you are happy doodling on your computer every day, ticking off a few boxes, giving your two cents to opinion questions – AND earning a few bucks for your time and effort, that's great. Lots of folks really like doing these surveys and being rewarded for their opinions.
Your survey is processed with many others, as a statistical report - either for the company who requested it or for newsworthy stats. You've seen stats in newspapers or radio/tv like: “Only 50% of Seniors know what an Ipod is...” That data comes from surveys like these.
Usually you simply check off boxes on a multi-choice answer form. The stats can be easily sorted and manipulated that way, instead of all different answers from different people. Sometimes you might say which of three photos you like best (for a cereal box cover). Sometimes, but rarely, you will be asked for written opinions on something. If you choose not to participate in a survey, that's fine too.
I think you've figured this out by now, but don't expect to earn big bucks. In some cases, prizes or gifts will be offered instead of pay. This is time consuming, it can be interesting and fun too, but it all takes time – your time.
What's your time worth?
You register with a company, or two, that you select. After you are approved, you'll get email offers. You can choose to accept, or not, each offer.

Some retirees might do a survey for a ticket in a cash drawing, some will be happy with gift vouchers, still others want an income. It all depends on you...
When you first register with a company, they ask profile questions that help them send out the surveys based on the type of person they are seeking. I will warn you that some folks don't like completing the registration profile as its often lengthy, but it's necessary so they can match surveys with your profile.
They won't send baby food surveys to a senior citizen, but you might get AARP surveys or baker surveys if you enjoy baking. Makes sense, right? The surveys will be based on YOUR profile data.
After you register with a company or two, you'll get email surveys. If you choose to complete them, do it. If not, wait for another email and a new survey will follow.
BEWARE – if any company is promising a get rich quick income, don't do it. You know there are scammers everywhere in life, just don't fall for it. They aren't going to pay you big bucks to sit on your computer and check off some boxes, or give your opinion on a product.
NEVER give out your phone number as it can be sold, just like advertising calls you get now.
