I was never a 'morning person' to start with ... during my school, college and University years, I would study till late in the night, often the whole night, and then sleep till 10 am, get up, get ready and rush to college, university for my classes. This was because I lived in a densely populated locality of Daraganj, in the city of Allahabad, north-central India, on the right bank of river Ganga. It was not easy to study during the day time because of various disturbances.
But when joined my first job as a college lecturer, I found that the college started early in the morning. I had to devise ways to get up early and reach the college. Getting up early had many benefits. It seemed that there were 3 to 4 additional hours in the 24 hour day ... I could accomplish more in my days.
Unfortunately, I reverted back to my old ways after I retired from my teaching job in 2010.
I have now joined the MORNING MAKEOVER program in the hope to correct myself and improve the quality of my life.
