Good Retired Life

This was a typical week. The "snowbirds" have left for up North and it is quiet here. I enrolled in an online class on "hobby to business". I produce jewelry and love doing it. This week I am venturing into mixed media and have a lot to learn.

I look in the mirror and sometimes don't recognize myself. Age is not very flattering for a woman especially. My skin is getting all crinkly and doesn't fit the way it once did. That takes some getting used to.

I live alone and my sweet puppy is the best companion I have ever had. When I first moved to Florida, I had family here but since then most have passed.

All in all, I am blessed. I am able to take care of myself, my health is pretty good and I thank God for it all.
