Our Golden Years
Well here I am 78 with several old age problems and restricted to what I can do and with a husband with Dementia and trying to keep busy and put a little variety in my life. I never thought I would live this long.
I am so blessed as we recently moved to an apartment for seniors that is close to my two sons. They are so good to me. Prior to this we lived about 55 miles up north in Michigan for 50+ years. This is now home.
One thing I definitely do not want is a boyfriend or new husband. We have been married for almost 59 years and I love my husband as much as when I married him. I am not very sociable but I love to have pen pals. We do not go out much except to Dr. appointments, get our hair cut or go out to eat.
Yes we were bored with quarantining but survived. Have all of our vaccines and boosters and still wear a mask when out. Will surprised if anyone wants to be a pen pal with me because I am not very exciting.
Would be very happy though if I do get someone that wants to write to me I will be happy.
