My husband had a massive stroke at 59. He has made some recovery and is now 62. He has aphasia, which keeps him from being able to communicate very well... but, he is pretty self sufficient as far as bathing, feeding himself (as long as someone prepares his meals...)
I am looking for a retirement community of some sort where I can know that he will be cared for while I am on my trips (i am a flight attendant).
I am only 48 and can't seem to find a place that will let me live there too. (is the minimum age 55 everywhere?)
Any help or suggestions for me? We are looking for a place in Pensacola Florida since he has family there.
Thanks for any insight you may have!
