If I retire at 55 after 30 years of work, and don't work again -- and start collecting social security at 62, will my social security benefit be reduced?
Wendy Yes, for several reasons:
l) you worked 30 years, not 35 used in the calculation
2) age 62 is considered an early retirement, not full Social Security age
