I just retired on June 30th after 36 years of teaching. It was time.
So far, I have learned to bake bread, booked a trip to Israel, learned how to cook meals. My husband used to, but he's still working, and that's not fair. Joined the choir at the senior center (I think I'm the youngest) and taken my second woodworking class.
I'm also cleaning up the entire house, using that Marie Kondo method. Boy, have I gotten rid of a lot of stuff.
Even so, I still get bored. Having written this down sure helps.
I'm not ready to make very commitments, but have offered to help with events or one of type activities.
We're now in the position to do what we want. All the best, all of you.
