Surprise

I had to wait until I was 85 to ride in an ambulance 2 times courtesy of 911 calls. Cause? Tongue swelling causing closing of wind pipe, that caused heart damage. Then came the fluid buildup in my heart cavity.

That was 6 weeks ago. Slow recovery.

Glad to say I was able to attend granddaughter's graduation from Ithaca College last week. Tomorrow I will fly to Florida to watch another granddaughter graduate from high school and finally meet my 7th great grandchild.

Many thanks to all those family and medical people who made sure I survived to witness all this.

I am thinking of you, Ruth and hope you feel much better!
There are many surprises in life, some good and some bad. It is all a learning experience, and look at you now traveling all around to visit and have a happy time!!
