Retired Financial Planner from the Dallas/Fort Worth Area
After leaving the military as a Special Agent in Counter Intelligence in 1960, I began my career with the Travelers Group in May, 1960. I began as a Field Representative, moved up to assistant manager, transferred to New Orleans, Manger, Special Service. Transferred to the Home Office in Hartford and for ten years I headed the Business Plans Unit. I left Hartford as an Officer of the company to assume a Regional Managership of Field Offices in an eleven state region. In 1987, I moved as the Manager of the Dallas Field Office and retired from that position in 1991. I owned Damron and Damron (Financial Planning and Real Estate), 1990 – 2005 when I retired. I intend to Write and Goof Off in retirement.
